The Retreat Day Spa

The logo for the Retreat Day Spa is inspired by the Cahaba Lily — a native species of flora in the area. The flower requires a specialized habitat of flowing water and lots of sun — essential elements to health and wellness. The lilies peak once a year representing an everlasting promise of beauty through rejuvenation.
Imagery juxtaposes elements of water and earth to reinforce the spa’s commitment to natural products and services. A calming color palette is drawn from these sources and is used as the main brand identifier throughout all applications.
The logotype is based on a modify versions of the font Domaine Sans. Terminal stroke ends are extended and swashed to flow elegantly throughout the words.
